OVERVIEW
Tim Graves is an associate specializing in bankruptcy law, debtor/creditor rights, commercial litigation, appeals, and real estate matters and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2010-13. Tim’s bankruptcy practice has included the representation of debtors, creditors, and Trustees in chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Tim has also handled a myriad of commercial litigation matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants involving breach of contract, fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duties, and conversion. Tim has represented clients from the pre-suit phase through multiple levels of appeal in federal courts, including mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Tim’s real estate practice has included representation of foreclosing lenders, landlords and tenants, and sellers of residential real estate.
Tim’s practice also includes probate and estate planning. Tim holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Prior to joining Allard & Fish, P.C. as an attorney in 2002, Tim clerked at the firm and was a judicial intern for the Honorable George C. Steeh, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
