Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Debtor/Creditor Law

Our attorneys are nationally recognized for their expertise in bankruptcy and insolvency law. We routinely represent individuals and troubled companies both in and out of court.

Our attorneys routinely represent debtors, creditors and creditors’ committees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings throughout the United States. Our expertise includes representing corporate debtors, individual debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, petitioning creditors in involuntary cases, and trustees. Our practice includes representation of clients in the filing of bankruptcy cases, representing creditors in obtaining relief from the bankruptcy stay and recovering property, filing proofs of claims, representation of plaintiffs and defendants in adversary proceedings involving fraudulent conveyances and preferential transfers, representation of bankruptcy trustees in recovering assets for the benefit of creditors, and prosecuting and defending complaints seeking the denial of a debtor’s discharge or nondischargeability of debt.

Our attorneys also represent clients in state and federal courts in loan collection actions, foreclosures, collateral repossession and dispositions under the Uniform Commercial Code.

Out of court, our attorneys have substantial experience and expertise pursuing clients’ interests in workouts and out of court debt restructuring plans, wind-downs and asset liquidations.

We also have special expertise in health care matters both in and out of bankruptcy.
